A game with its own identity

Great art. Mechanics that matter.

Build the visual experience and the game logic as one production. Choose the pipeline around the title you want to make.

Original visual-development concept by Wizards. Illustrative artwork, not a released game.

Art with a point of view

Original characters, symbols and interface. Spine 2D, rendered 3D or a scoped real-time pipeline, with animation states and source deliverables defined up front.

More than spinning reels

Cascading reels, feature triggers and custom bonus buys, scoped alongside the math, outcome presentation and player-facing rules.

A handoff people can review

Frontend and math versions, rules, artwork, QA records and documentation. Review support is agreed in scope; Engine controls publication approval.

From first conversation to handoff

One team. A clear production path.

  1. Shape the brief

Share your concept, references or existing build. Define the platform, mechanics and intended visual direction.

  2. Agree the scope

Align deliverables, ownership, revision rounds, dependencies and acceptance milestones in a project-specific proposal.

  3. Build & validate

Develop the art, animation, math and client together, with agreed device and game-state checks.

  4. Prepare the review

Package the agreed build, media and documentation, with responsibilities for review corrections made explicit.

ENGINE / PRODUCTION

Inside the production scope

The detail behind the visuals: deliverables, animation decisions, ownership and review responsibilities.

Wizards works with publishers and game studios commissioning original casino games for Engine, also known as Stake Engine. We bring the concept, visual production, game mathematics and frontend work into one project-specific production plan. Operators planning exclusive content can use the same scoping process.

Original production, from the brief to the review package

A complete game needs more than an attractive reel set. The math must describe the mechanics, the client must communicate the resulting outcomes, and the delivery package must let another person understand what was built. We define those responsibilities together before preparing a quote.

Workstream What we define with your team
Concept and mechanics Theme, reel or grid structure, cascades, feature triggers and the boundaries of each bonus mode
Art and animation Characters, symbols, interface, Spine 2D or a scoped 3D pipeline, state transitions and required source assets
Game mathematics Target profile, mode costs, outcome distribution, simulation and documentation against the platform specification
Frontend and integration Outcome presentation, responsive layouts, platform communication, languages and device acceptance criteria
QA and handoff Rules, replay and error-state checks, build identities, media, documentation and agreed review support

High-end animation with a defined production scope

Spine 2D, rendered 3D and real-time 3D have different asset, engineering and device requirements. A useful brief specifies the shots, character states, symbol animations and bonus sequences the title needs. We assess the visual direction against the intended client and platform before choosing the delivery pipeline.

For cascading reels and custom bonus modes, the brief should explain when each state begins, how outcomes are displayed and which rules a player needs to understand. Extra animation cannot compensate for an unclear mechanic. A reference game can communicate a goal; your original theme, assets and implementation still need their own scope.

One quote for the work your game actually needs

Send the concept or existing build, the target platform, your preferred timeline and any art or mathematics already available. An optional private budget helps us discuss tradeoffs; it is not required to start the conversation. We prepare the quote around agreed deliverables, revision rounds, dependencies and acceptance milestones rather than a public package price.

The proposal should distinguish game-specific deliverables from reusable tooling and third-party licences. Ownership, publisher-account responsibilities, post-delivery support and changes outside the agreed brief belong in the written scope.

Review preparation and approval are separate

The handoff can include the agreed frontend and math versions, rules, artwork, QA records and documentation, plus support for in-scope review corrections. Engine decides publication approval; independent testing and market-specific legal requirements are separate responsibilities. We do not promise an approval outcome or a platform-controlled launch date. See the current Engine approval requirements and submission checklist.

See the work, then shape the brief

Our game-development catalogue lets you inspect game work and demos. A demo illustrates that particular build; it does not establish Engine approval or availability in a regulated market. For broader slot production, read our custom slot development service.
