SAGSE Latin America made its Florida debut on 24 and 25 August 2021, and Global Wizards was one of its silver sponsors. The event brought the senior executives of the international gaming industry together at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, and its aftermovie has now been released.
What happened across the two days
The first day was a welcome on DAER’s rooftop for operators, regulators, sponsors and professionals from countries including Argentina, Colombia and Brazil. After the reception, 75 special guests were invited to a VIP sector.
The second day kept the purpose and changed the setting: the same operators, on the beach near the sea, in relaxed clothes and a more informal atmosphere.

More than 130 professionals attended, in what was for many the first in-person industry event in months. The organiser’s reading of that turnout was that it shows the interest and the need among executives in the sector to recover business activity by creating networking environments.
What comes next for SAGSE
The organisers were already working on the following edition, planned for 5 and 6 May in Miami, with the stated intention of arranging further meetings in Latin America as well as the United States.
